This Wednesday is the Wonderful Wednesday monthly daytime meeting. It is held in the Cook Community Hub Hall from 9.30am until 12.30pm.
It is a hand work meeting. Members and visitors sit around tables, sewing and catching up. There is a “free-to-a-good-home” area set up on the stage – members can bring fabric and magazines, anything they don’t want. You need to take back anything of yours left at the end of the meeting! Raffles, luck door prize, name badge draw, show and tell as well as morning tea.

This is also the day when UFO pledges are due- return pledge certificate to Liz Rose.
In the afternoon there is a drop-in in the CQ room. The library will be open for members and Marilyn Clempson will be starting her guidance sessions for people wanting to learn crazy patchwork, including embroidery and embellishment.

This is also one of the Drop-ins set aside for people to come and work on their UFO pledge quilts- you can get help with whatever is blocking you from finishing that quilt.
