Annual Members Exhibition

The 2022 Annual Exhibition will this year be held from Wednesday June 1st to Saturday June 4th, a slight change from previous years where we ran from Thursday to Sunday. The venue has also changed and will now be the newly re-furbished Former Transport Depot at 21 Wentworth Ave, Kingston (previously the Old Bus Depot Markets).

EXHIBITION NOTICE – CATEGORY 4 – MIXED MEDIA AND ART QUILT

I was notified that art quilts may be excluded from this category as they may not include “printing, embroidery, embellishment, painting, dyeing, fibre manipulation and/or trapunto”.  It would seem our definition is not clear as these descriptors relate to the Mixed Media aspect of the category.  

Art quilts need only comply with the maximum size of 260 cm length or width.

Unfortunately, this has not been made as clear in the definition as it should have been and will be corrected for 2023. If members were uncertain as to whether they have an art quilt which would meet this category, please enter that quilt.  If you have any concerns, please contact the Exhibition Coordinator directly – Cornelia Reppin  M: 0409 070 294 or exhibition@canberraquilters.org.au

Submit Exhibition Entry

Before completing your on-line entry you will need:

  • quilt photo in jpg format, maximum size 1.5MB. Sample file name LastnameInitial1.jpg (eg CruiseJ1.jpg, CruiseJ2.jpg etc). This file must be no larger than 1.5MB.
  • Your quilt details – title, size (in cms) and orientation.
