Here is a message from Valerie, Exhibition Co-ordinator. Please take note of the dates and times towards the end of the message.
Thank you all for your ongoing patience as we worked through the implications of COVID and the ongoing health directives over the last couple of months. The Exhibition sub committee had made quite a few changes to exhibition plans as we adjusted to each new wave of the virus but sadly made the final decision to not proceed with the last possible plan for the year which was the Quilt display and sales room planned for mid December at the Fitters’ Workshop in Kingston.
I know this will be very disappointing for many of you particularly as the ACT will no longer be in lockdown and consideration would be given to events such as these. However, the close proximity of people in such a small venue would not be in our or the general public’s best interest and we have regretfully cancelled our plans and bookings for that event.
We will still be proceeding with the Virtual Judged Exhibition and if you have entered a quilt this year, please note the dates below.
If you have only entered items for the sales room (but do not have a quilt entered), a refund will be sent to you.
- Delivery Day – Friday 19 November between 2pm and 6pm at our rooms at Cook.
- Judging Day – Saturday 20 November 9am-4pm
- Photography Day – Sunday 21 November. 9am-4pm
- Saturday 27 November – pick up day 9am – 1 pm (TBC ) at our rooms at Cook.
