Exhibition entries close this week on Friday 6th May at midnight. Please make sure you have your entries in by then!
Consider doing a Challenge Entry. The theme is One Colour Many Hues.
Would you like to see another aspect of the exhibition’s preparations? Small groups of volunteers are required for –
- Delivery Day (Friday, 20 May) 2-6pm
- Photography Day (Saturday, 21 May) – 9am until completion – does include ladder climbing. Also as this is Election Day, members will need to ensure they allow time for voting.
- Judging Day (Tuesday, 24 May) – 9am until completion.
Shifts on these days can be counted towards a member’s shift commitment for the exhibition (excluding Sales Room). It would be good for these groups of around 8-10 members, to contain a mix of members who have undertaken the tasks previously, or those who are new to the task.
“I would like to help at Canberra Quilters but I just don’t have the capacity or time at the moment.”
But you can – sell a raffle book – only 10 tickets. As one of our main fundraising options, this goes a long way to supporting Canberra Quilters – enabling us to maintain our room, update the library and provide supplies for QFO. It is a small thing but just as important as being able to volunteer for a Committee position or one of the other volunteer positions that keeps our Guild and Exhibition running, and our room open.
If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Cornelia Reppin, Exhibition Coordinator.
