The evening meeting is this Thursday, 7 February, 7pm for a 7.30pm start, in the Hall at the Cook Community Hub. The meeting starts with formal committee (and other) reports and news, followed by an activity.
Membership Renewal- Don’t forget membership fee was due on 1 January. Renew at the meeting or online. You need to be a member to stand for the AGM in March. You also need to be a member by 31 March in order to exhibit or sell at the Annual Exhibition in August.
The library fund raising sale is on. Funds raised go to future library purchases. Donations of books, patterns, DVDs, quilting knick knacks are welcome (no fabric or magazines). Books excess to the library, and donated books and other media will be for sale in the Hall, for reasonable prices. Unsold items will be for sale at the February Wonderful Wednesday meeting. Come along to pick up a bargain!
Joan Porta will be speaking about the Blankets of Love program. Joan has handed over the co-ordinator’s baton to Kay Provins.
Please bring something along for show & tell. We all like to see what everyone is working on.
