Last month’s special activity was a presentation on the Days for Girls project. Information about Days for Girls is available on this website – http://www.daysforgirls.org Donations of the following can still be made to Louise Fredericks, at this meeting:
- Boxes of large Ziplock plastic bags (gallon bags from Costco are ideal)
- Underwear (packaged, new) – girls sizes 12-14 and women sizes up to 10 – 12
- 100% cotton quilters fabric and flannelette
For underwear and fabric: bright and patterns, no light colours, no faces or animals. Patterns are good but not too modern patterns, e.g. stripes are great. Please bring these donations to any of the September, October and November meetings.
