Threads of Policing
Canberra Museum and Gallery, 6 November until 5 March 2022
A rare opportunity to learn about the Australian Federal Police through quilt blocks stitched by its members.
This unique exhibition combines a series of quilts reflecting the experiences of AFP members with a fascinating look at the varied work of the AFP through its vast museum collection.
Many of the blocks are heartfelt expressions of pride, dedication and sacrifice, and feature a wide range of techniques.
Curated by long-time Canberra Quilter and AFP Museum Curator Chris Cranston, the exhibition is showing at Canberra Museum and Gallery until 5 March 2022.
