$5.00 entry (tax deductable donation)

Many of our families and CQ members have been affected by cancer. We want to help, so we are extending an invitation to CQ members and friends to join our annual Biggest Quilting Morning Tea, which raises funds for our local ACT Cancer Council. The money funds research, prevention programs and support for those impacted by cancer.

Entry: A $5.00 (or more) taxable deductable donation to the ACT Cancer Society.

Theme: THE YEAR OF THE PIG – celebrating all things piggy

Morning Tea/Lunch: If you can, please bring a plate of food to share at the morning tea/lunch – it’s always an on-going feast!

Activities and fun: There will be lots of raffles, lucky door prizes, table games, a ‘pink pig’ stall, sewing related challenges and of course – lots of fun and laughter and a prize for the best decorated table/people representing something to do with pigs.

Raffle donations: Donations to the raffle prizes are very welcome and must be new or in as-new condition. Please leave them in the tub marked BMT, in the CQ Cook store room or deliver to

‘Pink Pig’ Stall: Used or older donations can go to the ‘Pink Pig’ Stall – there are always great deals to find. Please bring your items for the ‘Pink Pig’ Stall on the day. Left overs will be donated to charity.

So, come along – have some fun, a great morning tea/lunch and help raise much-needed funds for Cancer Research. For more information, or, if you would like to help with the BMT, please contact Tricia Morton on 0421131898 or email
