In the Canberra Times for Sunday 17 August there is a short article publicising the Canberra Craft and Quilt Fair – where our members’ exhibition provides a significant drawcard. The image in the paper is a little different to that used in the online version – but you can see the bright colours to expect in some of our quilts this year. Here is a link to the online version.
President Helen Rose and member Gemma Jackson are in the photo with quilts by Bronwyn Hill –Priscilla, behind Helen and Gemma, a glimpse of Jenny Bowker’s Healing Hearts across Gemma’s shoulders, Gemma holding her own quilt Primary Plus and Helen holding Robyn Oats’ quilt Turn and Return.
The show is hung on Wednesday and opens on Thursday 21 August, until Sunday 24 August, 10am until 4.30pm each day.
