The next Quilts for Others (QFO) working bee is on 8 May, from 10am until 2pm, in the CQ room at Cook Community Hub.
QFO makes quilts to donate to charities and organizations in the Canberra region. In 2017 over 300 quilts were made and donated. This month quilts for refuges will be distributed – about 70 in all.
If you would like to join us at a working bee you would be most welcome. There are plenty of jobs to be done: hand sewing, machine sewing, pinning and other tasks.
Bring your lunch if you plan to stay for the day. Morning tea is provided.
