Postponed – Canberra Craft and Quilt Fair 2021

A message from Expertise Events about this year’s Craft and Quilt Fair:

Sadly the fair will not go ahead as planned for September. The Covid-19 situation in the ACT and surrounding NSW area continues and even if the lockdown ends by late August, the attendance of interstate exhibitors is impacted and the confidence of visitors to attend is also compromised.
In light of all these factors, we have no other choice but to reschedule the fair to Thursday to Sunday, October 21 to 24, Exhibition Park In Canberra.
We extend our warmest regards to everyone in our community, and above all stay safe.
We are pleased to advise that the Canberra Quilters Exhibition is able to run in conjunction with the fair on those new dates.
Of course the situation is changing regularly and we will send out any updates when changes happen. Please check our official website www.craftevents.com.au for the latest updates before travelling.
CQ President Katie Ley has posted in the Member’s page on Facebook:
Hi everyone – by now many of us would have received an email from Expertise Events about new dates for the Craft and Quilt Fair. This should not have been a surprise to anyone (particularly given our own situation here with lockdown, and the overall situation in Sydney).
In the coming days Valerie and the Exhibition sub-committee will be able to let us know what this is going to mean for timelines etc.
As we have maintained from the beginning of the year, we are going to be having a judged show, this doesn’t change. We just need to sort out some of the details 🙂
Keep well – Katie
