This Wednesday is the Wonderful Wednesday monthly meeting in the Cook Community Hub Hall, starting at 9.30am, until 12.30pm. This is followed by a drop-in in the Canberra Quilters’ room.
WW is a sit and (hand) sew meeting – or you can knit, crochet or chat or anything really. Members bring excess supplies, like fabric, patterns and magazines and place them on the stage – free to a good home! The formal part of the meeting is after 11am – announcements, luck door and badge draws, raffles and show and tell.
Members take it in turns to provide morning tea – so there is usually something yummy to eat as well.
The theme for the special show and tell is ‘I Spy’ quilts.
