It is Bring and Buy time at the Wonderful Wednesday meeting on 16 October. Members will have tables set up to sell their excess fabric, notions, books (anything quilt-related, really).
Members who attended workshops with the Tentmakers of Cairo, or bought from them, are encouraged to bring the works for show and tell.
The meeting runs from 9.30am until 12.30pm and is held in the Hall at the Cook Community Hub. It is a sit & sew meeting with a formal part of the meeting at around 11.15. This is for announcements, lucky door prize, name badge draw, raffle draws, and show & tell. Tea and coffee supplied.
After the meeting there is a drop-in session in the Canberra Quilters’ room in the adjacent building – the library will be open for members to borrow and return books.
