It is with sadness that the death of Liz Dawson, on 16 November, is announced. Liz was the driving force behind getting the Common Ground housing project started. This project to help house the homeless and at risk will be opening soon.
She spoke at a Canberra Quilters meeting and this is what started our own Common Ground project – to make 40 quilts for the beds at Common Ground. QFO is managing the project.
