The next meeting of the Small Japanese Projects group is this Wednesday, 26 October, from 10am until 12 noon. It is followed by a drop-in until 4pm, incorporating the Lucy Boston interest group.
The project this month is a small covered notebook. It’s quick to make, and uses up small pieces of fabric such as fat quarters, sashiko or boro stitcheries. When you’ve made one there is a great temptation to make another three or so. Wendy will bring some examples, and we will discuss design ideas before she demonstrates sewing one.
Please bring a notebook to jot down the pattern dimensions.
As always, bring something for show and tell – something that you have bought, or made, or you are working on.
