The next Quilts for Others (QFO) working bee is on 13 February, from 10am until 2pm, in the CQ room at Cook Community Hub.
This month QFO will also be having a fabric sale of donated fabric that is excess to requirements. A wide range of fabric, suitable for patchwork, craft and home sewing, is available. Monies raised will go towards supporting QFO provide quilts to local Canberra organisations.
QFO makes quilts to donate to charities and organizations in the Canberra region. In 2017 over 300 quilts were made and donated.
If you would like to join us at a working bee you would be most welcome. There are plenty of jobs to be done: hand sewing, machine sewing, pinning and other tasks.
Bring your lunch if you plan to stay for the day. Morning tea is provided.
