A message from the convenor, Jenny Emerton:
A beautiful selection of quilts featuring floral themes is now hanging at Erindale Library. They are very colourful and cover a range of eras and styles. Some older favourites are included in this exhibition. They demonstrate that flowers are an enduring inspiration for quilt makers. Many thanks to the seven members who contributed quilts for this exhibition.
This exhibition will remain in the Library until early August. After that I’m planning an exhibition of the work of Liz Rose.
The last exhibition for 2019 may have a ‘Stars’ theme if I can get enough stars quilts.
Please be in touch with Jenny Emerton for offers of quilts, ideas for future themes or any other matters to do with quilt exhibitions at the Library.
Erindale Library is in McBryde Crescent, Wanniassa. It is adjacent to the shopping precinct and Erindale Theatre.
