Modern Quilt group meeting – 11 May 2017

The next meeting is 11 May, from 7.30pm, in the CQ room at the Cook Community Hub.

We aim to encourage members to learn about, discuss and experiment with the principles of the Modern Quilt movement. Graphic styles, clear modern colours and renewed simplicity in quilting is sweeping the world!

At this meeting the group will be focussing on making a group quilt for entering in the Annual Members’ Exhibition. Separate instructions have been sent to regular attendees on what they need to do and bring. If you are new to the group come along and join in – there is plenty of work you could help with. The quilt is based on the Cross-cut quilt from Debbie Jeske’s blog, aquilterstable. This group will be starting with 10″ squares.

Bring along some show & tell, just to break up the busy evening!
