Canberra Quilters operates on the calendar year for its financial year. That means memberships are due NOW.
There are many benefits of membership. You can borrow from the library, get the quarterly newsletter, stand for the committee(AGM on March 2), exhibit and sell at the Canberra Quilters Members’ Exhibition and Sales Room* , enrol in workshops, come along and use the room for free at the drop-ins and special interest group get togethers. Various shops offer a discount on presentation of your current membership card.
You can pay online, the membership form is in the newsletter or download from the website. The membership secretary is often at the regular evening meeting and Wonderful Wednesday meeting, so you could pay in person.
*you need to be a member by 31 March in order to exhibit and/or sell in the exhibition and sales room.
