Members may be interested in travelling to Jugiong for their quilt show this weekend. It is held in the Memorial Hall from 10am until 4pm each day, entry $5. Proceeds go to the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.
The themes is hearts and hexagons and there is a Lucy Boston block challenge. Light refreshments are available and there will be some stalls selling “quilty stuff” as well. The famous Long Track Pantry will be open if you need some gourmet delights to take home, or to eat in the café.
The Memorial Hall and the Long Track Pantry are both on Riverside Drive (the Old Hume Highway) – it is about an 1 hour 30-45 minute drive from Canberra.
