Canberra Quilters extends its congratulations to member Helen Godden who has been awarded three top prizes at the International Quilt Association festival in Houston as follows:
- First Prize, Painted Surface Category – Screeching Cockatoo
- Second Prize, Painted Surface Category – Mother Earth
- Inaugural World of Beauty award ($7500) – Seasonal Sisters, a collaboration with Gail Thomas and Annette Hendricks
