Member Brenda Gael Smith is curating an exhibition titled Living Colour. You may recall the previous exhibition Brenda curated – Beneath the Southern Sky. It toured widely and was very popular. The new exhibition will open at the Australian Quilt Convention in Melbourne in April 2014 and is already booked for venues in Canberra, Perth, Sydney and New Zealand.
Here is an opportunity to submit work for selection – it is open to all textile artists. There are specific size constraints (100cm length x 40 cm width). Details are on the website –here is a link. Entries close on 31 January 2014.
