The evening meeting is this Thursday, 3 August, 7pm for a 7.30pm start, in the Hall at the Cook Community Hub. The meeting starts with formal committee (and other) reports and news followed by an activity.
The special activity this month is all about the interest groups that have formed within Canberra Quilters. Come along and spend a fast 8 minutes getting to know each of the interest groups that are part of Canberra Quilters. It is a great way to find your perfect interest group and form a long lasting creative relationship!
Please bring something along for regular show & tell – we all like to see what everyone is working on.
All the usual meeting fun- lucky door prize, badge draw, raffle and regular show and tell. Don’t forget to stay and chat over a cuppa and check out the show and tell.
Don’t forget to pick up a book of tickets for the exhibition raffle – funds raised support Canberra Quilters activities. You can also return your sold books. The exhibition starts next Thursday 10 August and the raffle will be drawn on Sunday 13 August.
Library will not be open for this meeting as the room is being used for pre-exhibition logistics. The returns box will be in the corridor, outside the room.
