The evening meeting is this Thursday 7pm, for a 7.30pm start, in the Hall at the Cook Community Hub.
The special show & tell will have a theme of “Special Occasions”. So bring along your quilts made for birthdays, weddings, illnesses, anniversaries or whatever occasions you have made quilts for. If you do not have the quilt but you have a photo you can email it to the Vice President, Marcia, and it will be incorporated into a presentation. Deadline for sending an image is noon Wednesday.
Exhibition entries and Intention to Sell forms are due on 16 June. The Exhibition Secretary (Liz Rose) will be at this meeting, so you can hand your entry forms to her. Please include everything required in an envelope- it is a collection option only. Forms are available here.
All the usual meeting fun- lucky door prize, badge draw, raffle and regular show and tell. Library is open before and after the meeting in the CQ room. Don’t forget to stay and chat over a cuppa and check out the show and tell.
Reminder that full payments for the CQ 40th birthday lunch on 17 July are due ($40). Payments can be made at the meeting or by EFT/ direct deposit. The latter should be referenced with “40th lunch”.
You can pick up raffle books for this year’s exhibition raffle. We were going to be selling tickets at the Addicted to Fabric Sale on 3 and 4 June, but the sale has been postponed. Stay tuned for a blog announcement under sponsor news, for the rescheduled dates.
