There is no Wonderful Wednesday meeting on the 18th December, however, our room will be open from 10am to 4pm. So come and drop in to finish your last minute Christmas gift or just chill out before Christmas or get your library books, as the library will be open until 1.30pm.
Dear Jane Interest Group
Those of you interested in working on a Dear Jane quilt in 2020 are welcome to attend the Dear Jane start up/ information drop in from, 10am to 12pm. The regular get togethers of this interest group will be on 5th Wednesdays in 2020.
Come and join Christine Stewart and like minded members start, continue or finish their Dear Jane Quilt.
Jane Stickle created her sampler quilt in 1863 during the American Civil War. There are 5602 pieces but you don’t have to make the whole quilt. Although there is no formal class, Brenda Papadakis’s book and CD “Dear Jane” will be used to make all or part of your quilt. So bring your book, CD and something to read the CD, plus your ideas, fabric and enthusiasm to get started.
