The Wonderful Wednesday meeting is on 17 February in Cook Community Hub Hall, from 9.30am until 12.30pm. It is followed by the drop-in session (1-4pm) in the CQ room, where the library will be open.
WW is a sit and sew meeting with morning tea provided by rostered members, raffles, lucky door prize and name badge draw. On the stage there is ‘free to a good home’ stuff- fabric and magazines.
This month the special themed show and tell is star quilts- star blocks, star fabric, star quilting. There is also regular show & tell.
As Christine mentioned in the comments – the library fund book sale continues at this meeting. Bring some money for a bargain or two.
Don’t forget that membership was due on 1 January- you can renew online or by handing it in at the meeting.
There will be a book sale too. Excess books from the library will be for sale, cheep, so that we can fund new library books!
