One of Canberra Quilters’ sponsors, Textile Treasures, is having a fabric sale this Saturday. Here are the details:
WHEN & WHERE: Saturday 27 February from 10 am to 4pm, at Macarthur Scout Hall, Coyne St Macarthur, (near the MPower Dome, for those not familiar with the neighbourhood).
FABRIC DETAILS: Gorgeous new Batik fabrics just opened up last week, stunning new colours and designs. Several jelly rolls, and fat quarters with a hand dyed look in colour gradations – lots of different pinks, reds and yellow ochre-y colours in these.
Fabrics are still $14 per metre, minimum cut 50cm, with fat quarters at $4, jelly rolls are $35. Some specials during the day, including selling off fabrics where the remaining piece is under 2m for just $10 per metre.
