The Small Japanese Projects group meeting is this Wednesday – BUT NOT AT COOK. They are going on an excursion. Here are the details from convenor Wendy:
Our next meeting is Wed 26 Nov, 10-12 as usual.
But we’re going to visit KimoYES, at 60 Dundas Court, Phillip. So if you go to Cook, you will be lonely. Come and join us.
Jill, of KimoYES, is going to talk to us about the wonderful Japanese fabrics she stocks, and working with silk. There will be silk and other kimono fabrics to buy, as well as some of the tempting brooch, handbag and other kits that Jill stocks.
After that, we are going to A Bite to Eat at Chifley. You can drive your car right to the door, at Chifley shops, 8 Chifley Place.
Dress for the occasion! Wear your button necklace, or kanzashi flower brooch, or something you made with kumihimo. We’ll have show and tell at Chifley.
