The next QFO working bee is on Tuesday 8 November, in the CQ room. It runs from 10am until 2pm. BYO lunch, tea and coffee available. This is the second last working bee for the year. The last one will be on 13 December.
QFO make quilts for various local charities such as shelters and refuges, Ted Noffs Foundation, Marymead, Barnados. They are gathering quilts to make a major pre-Christmas distribution, so if you have a quilt try and get it completed and back to the QFO team.
At the working bee quilt tops are basted, ready to be machine quilted by members. Kits are cut out, quilt tops put together, bindings and labels sewn on. There are any number of jobs you can help with.
