This Thursday is the regular evening meeting, 7pm for a 7.30 start in the Cook Community Hub Hall.
It will be chaired by VP Marcia McKinnon – Helen Rose is on holiday in the Kimberley. Marcia will also be our guest speaker, giving details of her quilting journey.
The library will be open to members in the CQ room, after the meeting. All the usual fun- raffle, lucky door prize, name badge draw. Please bring a quilt for Show & Tell – members love to see what everyone else is making.
You can also take raffle books to sell tickets in this year’s exhibition raffle – see Cornelia Reppin. This is also the last evening meeting before exhibition entries are due on 20 June – you can hand them in to Exhibition Secretary, Liz Rose (your truly) at the meeting. We will also have the discounted entry tickets for sale- Exhibition Co-ordinator Jan Gordon will have these.

We also need volunteers to take exhibition flyers to post on notice boards around their suburbs, guided by our master list of locations. Think about doing this in your area. Publicity Officer (Karen Brown) will be available before and after the meeting to hand out flyers and record names.
