Evening Meeting – 2 November

The evening meeting is this Thursday, 3 November, 7pm for a 7.30pm start, in the Hall at the Cook Community Hub. The meeting starts with formal committee (and other) reports and news, followed by an activity.

Have you ever thought about selling your handmade creations? Then this is the meeting for you. We learn from the highly successful CQ Sales Room about how members can get involved in the 2018 Sales Room. We also talk with a panel of Canberra Quilters Members about how to price your handmade items, the impact of underpricing handmade and why it’s important to price items correctly.

Please bring something along for show & tell. We all like to see what everyone is working on.

All the usual meeting fun- lucky door prize, badge draw, raffle and regular show and tell. Don’t forget to stay and chat over a cuppa and check out the show and tell.

Membership renewals fall due on 1 January. Why not renew early at the meeting?

The exhibition raffle is over for another year- perhaps you or your friendship group would consider making the raffle quilt for next year! Talk to the Exhibition Co-ordinator Julie Ricketts.

Library will be open for this meeting, so stock up for some spring projects.
