QFO has mislaid 2 icecream containers holding safety pins and some” qwik clip” closing implements. If anyone can shed some light on this dilemma could you let one of the QFO committee members know please.
Contact details for QFO are in the newsletter, or you can send an email via the blog address.
Don’t forget next Tuesday is QFO working bee day- 13 September, from 10am until 2pm, in the CQ room at Cook Community Hub.
QFO makes quilts to donate to charities and organizations in the Canberra region. In 2016 301 quilts were made and donated.
If you would like to join us at a working bee you would be most welcome. There are plenty of jobs to be done: hand sewing, machine sewing, pinning and other tasks.
Bring your lunch if you plan to stay for the day. Morning tea is provided.
The power cord from one of the CQ Bernina machines is missing. If you have used one of these machines recently, please check your sewing projects to make sure you haven’t inadvertently packed it up.
The cord can be returned at any of the meetings or drop-ins. Please contact committee member Wendy if you discover the cord.
One of our members lost her mobile phone at last night’s meeting. It is an older model silver Nokia. If you find it or know where it is please contact Leonie on 62862868.
