Each year Canberra Quilters Inc has a raffle that is drawn at the end of the exhibition (6-9 August 2015). Any money made from the raffle contributes to the running of the group, including buying supplies for Quilts for Others. QFO creates quilts for donation to community organisations.

The prizes for this year’s raffle are:

  • Queen size quilt Crystal Symphony (value $2050)
  • King size quilt Bright Lights ($1750)
  • Bernina Oxford 6 sewing machine (value $699)
  • Hamper of Sewing/ Quilting items ($250)

First drawn ticket gets first choice of prizes, second drawn ticket gets choice of remaining prizes, and so on.

Tickets are $2 each and are available through members and local quilting shops and at Canberra Quilters meetings.
