Canberra Quilters has been contacted by the organisers of the Gungahlin Craft Fair with an opportunity for members to enter quilts for display and/ or sale. Please note the deadline. Here are the details:
CALLING ALL QUILTERS
The Gungahlin Community Craft Fair, 20 September 2014, is celebrating the creativity and compassion of our region and raising funds to support young people through chaplaincy in Gungahlin public schools. The fair will include a display of quilts and their accompanying stories.

I’m writing to ask you about the possibility of meeting other patchwork/quilters in the Gungahlin region. I’ve just started learning quilting at the CIT on weekends. I’d like to be able to meet up with other patchwork/quilters, and share ideas – especially since I don’t work due to health issues.
