Get busy and get stitching, and you could have your own quilt or textile art piece on display at Australia’s premier quilting event, admired by thousands of visitors from around the country and further afield.
Closing date for all online entries is February 25, 2016
Challenge yourself and explore your creativity within a theme in this prestigious annual challenge.
The theme is ‘Tradition with a Twist’ and if selected as a finalist, your quilt will tour Australia and New Zealand throughout the year. A prize pool of $5,500 is up for grabs with winners awarded on interpretation of theme, excellence in design, craftsmanship, and a Viewers’ Choice.
Quilt size is 90cm square.
Mini-Textile Art Challenge: Paws & Whiskers
We invite you to show your best friend in their best light, in textiles!
Traditional and contemporary works using creative textile techniques including patchwork, embroidery, appliqué, surface design, photo transfer, printing, etc, will all be considered. The winner will receive a fabulous Fiskars prize pack valued at more than $200.
The work must have at least two layers and the size is 25cm square.

If you have completed a kaleidoscope quilt and would like to be part of the AQC Quilt Show, send information and an image of your quilt for consideration. This is a non-judged exhibition – our aim is to create a spectacular display of millefiore colour.
Your quilt does not need to be finished for online entry, but if selected for display it must be finished and sent to Expertise Events before March 25, 2016.
Quilt can be any size and does not have to be your original design.
