Canberra Quilters’ member Brenda Gael Smith has issued a call for entries for an exhibition she is curating.
This will be the 4th exhibition that she has curated – Beneath the Southern Sky (2012/2013) and Living Colour! (2014/2015) have a similar format. The latter is still on tour and after the current showing at Gosford Regional Gallery and Nautilus Art Centre in Port Lincoln the exhibition will tour to the USA to be part of the AQS Quilt weeks in Grand Rapids, Chattanooga and Des Moines.
Calling all textile artists – explore the fourth dimension in cloth and submit your work for the travelling textile art exhibition – “a matter of time” . Closing date: 15 January 2016. (That is nearly 8 months to create a 40cm x 100 cm quilt!) All the details at http://amatteroftimetextiles.com/
