Reminder: Art Quilters meeting this Saturday, 14th at 1pm.
I would like to have a play day with materials that don’t fray, for example lutradur, evolon, leather, paper (including paper towels), etc and also incorporating painted fusible webbing. So please bring any of these materials you have on hand plus paints or inks to colour. I will troll through my books for ideas and hopefully also have some examples of possibilities. Non-fraying materials are wonderful for applique and reverse applique … we don’t tend to consider them when we are starting projects, and often they take colour beautifully.
